USA, China, England: the majority of intubated patients die
Several studies from abroad can now, however, suspect that these same devices in the fight against Covid-19 are not as effective as hoped. According to a report from London documented that 1053-intubated patients only 355 live left the hospital (33.7 percent). A smaller study from the Chinese Corona-Hot-Spot of Wuhan draws an even bleaker picture: only three of the 22 intubated patients survived (13.6 percent). Add to this an observation from Seattle, who accompanied the 18 intubated patients. Of them, nine were still alive when the researchers finished their observation, however, three of them at the time could not still breathe independently.
This results in a far higher mortality rate than patients who are connected to other diseases on ventilation equipment. According to the news Agency “Associated Press” (AP) to die of the people, regardless of Covid-19-because of a serious respiratory distress on a ventilator is connected, about 40 to 50 per cent – it’s 50 to 60 percent survival.
